Many Christians wonder what it looks like to submit to God’s delegated authorities. God’s Word makes His heart clear on the matter by stating repeatedly that dishonor toward any earthly authority is in reality dishonor toward Him. For this reason, we demonstrate respect toward all earthly authorities by obeying the law, speaking with respect for authorities, working faithfully at our jobs, and honoring the role we have in our homes. When we do this, God promises to greatly bless us.
